An extraordinary concert, “Poeticon and Friends,” will be held in the Forum hall. During the performance on Wednesday, 4 January 2012, at 18:00, we will see and hear groups that work daily in the art studios of the Bolesławiec Cultural Centre–International Ceramic Centre.
For this occasion, the Poeticon ensemble has prepared its own arrangements of Polish and foreign songs, including songs by Natalia Kukulska, Maryla Rodowicz, Ania Lenox, Wham and Queen. The “Carmen” Flamenco Dance School and the “Arabeska” Oriental Dance School will perform their own arrangements. Participants in the vocal workshops will sing atmospheric Christmas carols and pastorals. The “Bolesławiec” Municipal Brass Band will also put us in a New Year’s mood.
Invitations to the concert can be collected from the Tourist and Cultural Information Point in the foyer of the Forum cinema. Admission is free.
