A careers forum was held at the Construction School Complex in Bolesławiec for students studying professions related to the construction industry. The meeting, organized as part of the “Modernization of Vocational Education in Lower Silesia II” project, aimed to expand students’ knowledge of the local labor market, increase their motivation to actively seek employment, and help them plan their careers effectively.
Józef Pokładek, deputy head of the Surveying and Cadastre Department of the District Starosty’s Office in Bolesławiec, introduced the young people to the fundamentals of surveying, encouraged them to broaden their knowledge, and motivated them to continue their education. Then Rafał Tomczyk, owner of Budownictwo Dekarsko-Blacharskie, spoke. He was recognized as the best vocational teacher in this year’s edition of the competition organized by Powiat Bolesławiecki and the Guild of Various Crafts. The next item on the program was a presentation by Jarosław Sienkiewicz from Zehnder Polska.
During the forum, the young people had the opportunity to ask questions and discuss matters with genuine professionals. The meeting was moderated by Zbigniew Rydz from ZSB.
