In November, viewers of the Film Discussion Club will see: “Mr. Nice” – a film based on the bestselling autobiographical story of Howard Marks. An Oxford University graduate and an international drug smuggler on a huge scale.
“Silence” – an emotionally charged crime film. The director focused on deepening the psychological portrayal of the characters and tells on screen a story about the endless darkness of the human soul.
“What Do You Know About Ella?” – a modern face of Iran, which has so far been shown extremely rarely. It is a film about the danger of sending inappropriate signals in a society for which following clearly defined standards of behaviour is extremely important.
“The Skin I Live In” – Pedro Almodóvar’s thriller, enthusiastically received at the Cannes festival, by the undisputed master of contemporary cinema.
The films are available to viewers of the Network of Art-House Cinemas. A fixed format and attractive ticket prices apply. A November pass costs only PLN 20. Details and ticket reservations are available on the Forum cinema website
