The match began with the visitors enjoying a clear advantage. Orzeł’s players attacked and often threatened the BKS goal. As early as the 5th minute, Bolesławiec could have conceded after an error by Robert Nitarski. However, a good intervention by the goalkeeper saved the team. In the 13th minute, Orzeł’s players launched another attack that ended with an accurate shot. Once again, the Bolesławiec goalkeeper made a successful save. Several times before the end of the first half, Orzeł’s players created very dangerous situations, but they converted none of them into a goal. BKS only increased the tempo 15 minutes before the break. Tomasz Jasiński and Paweł Rissmann failed to take advantage of good opportunities. In the 36th minute, the visitors once again had a chance to score. The BKS goalkeeper was also not caught out by a powerful free kick taken from around 30 metres.

In the second half, Bolesławiec increased the tempo. In the 48th minute, Halkowicz failed to take one of the better chances to take the lead. Inside the visitors’ penalty area, he failed to control the ball, which consequently crossed the end line. Just five minutes later, Pietrzak had an opportunity to score for BKS. His powerful free kick, however, missed the target. The following minutes brought a festival of fouls and stoppages in play by both sides. In the 89th minute, Paweł Fulczyński still attempted a shot at the visitors’ goal, but the Orzeł goalkeeper parried the ball for a corner. The goalless score remained unchanged until the final whistle.

The entire match could be described as a festival of fouls and offsides. While players from both teams committed fouls, only the Bolesławiec players were caught offside. BKS’s reserve goalkeeper, Piotr Zając, performed well. He continued to replace the injured Marek Przykłota. Other players who stood out in the match were Józef Pietrzak, Andrzej Węgłowski and Piotr Halkowicz.
