Firefighters intervened on Saturday, October 10, at around 12:00 p.m. in the high-rise building at 2 Jana Pawła II Street in Bolesławiec. The reason was a suspected gas leak in one of the apartments.
It is known that an elderly woman with limited mobility was in the apartment. She reported that while in the kitchen, she smelled something resembling gas. The apartment was ventilated.
After arriving, the firefighters did not detect any alarming smell. The measuring devices they used also detected no gas.
The responders announced that they would additionally check the neighboring apartment on the same floor and the apartment above it.
