On October 9, 2026, the heads of municipal schools and preschools in Bolesławiec announced additional measures intended to reduce the risk of unauthorized people entering the premises.
The Mayor of Bolesławiec asked the heads to remain especially vigilant, carefully check people entering schools and preschools, and report concerning incidents to the relevant services and the Municipal Office.
Additionally, since the morning hours, increased patrols by officers of the District Police Headquarters in Bolesławiec and the Municipal Guard have been operating in schools and their vicinity.
The city reminds residents of the ban on entry for unauthorized persons
The city authorities remind residents that unauthorized persons may not enter municipal schools and preschools. This refers to anyone other than facility employees, students, and their legal guardians.
Any unusual situation, concerning behavior, or suspected threat should be reported to the police via the emergency number 112.
According to the Bolesławiec Municipal Office, municipal educational facilities have procedures in place for responding to threats, as well as preventive recommendations concerning students’ physical and digital safety.
