Police: so far, nothing indicates that the challenge exists
In the published statement, the Polish police reported that, since reports of the online challenge first appeared, officers had been carrying out activities aimed at verifying them.
“We inform you that so far nothing indicates that such an event actually took place,” the officers said.
At the same time, the police emphasize that the activities have not ended. Officers across the country are responding to reports and analyzing disturbing signals appearing online.
The services are appealing for people to remain calm, not spread unverified information, and use reliable sources. They also warn that deliberately causing panic may result in criminal liability.
