On Wednesday, September 30, at approximately 9:16 a.m., firefighters were dispatched to Wierzbowa. The report concerned a heating oil spill from tanks.

After arriving at the scene, the firefighters secured the area and then began neutralizing the spill. Their actions were aimed at limiting the spread of the substance and eliminating the hazard.

The hazard was eliminated; fortunately, no one was injured.

Three units took part in the operation: OSP KSRG Gromadka, OSP Wierzbowa and JRG Bolesławiec.
