For the twelfth time, Cancer Awareness Day was held in Bolesławiec County—an annual event organized by the Bolesławiec Amazon Women’s Club. The event, whose aim is to draw attention to the problem of cancer, promote prevention and highlight the importance of early diagnosis, once again brought together Amazon women, invited guests and county residents. The initiative was made possible thanks to financial support from PFRON, at the disposal of Bolesławiec County.

The celebrations began with a march through the streets of Bolesławiec. Participants proceeded to Teatr Stary in Bolesławiec, where the rest of the event took place. Upon arrival, they sang the Amazon Women’s Hymn, a symbol of the strength, solidarity and mutual support of women facing cancer.

At Teatr Stary, participants listened to lectures prepared by speakers from Szpital św. Łukasza w Bolesławcu

The Deputy Starost of Bolesławiec County, Patryk Hałka, attended the 12th Cancer Awareness Day in Bolesławiec County.
