The Wrocław branch of the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways has signed a contract to renovate the Bolesławiec interchange on the A4 motorway. The investment will be carried out by Przedsiębiorstwo Drogowe Bud-Dróg from Podbrzezie Dolne. The value of the signed contract is nearly PLN 1.2 million.
What will be renovated?
The work will cover the ramps of the interchange. GDDKiA has primarily planned to replace two pavement layers—the wearing course and the binder course.
As part of the investment, the contractor will also reinforce the shoulders. Once the work is completed, the road markings will be restored.
Drivers can expect disruptions
GDDKiA has not yet provided details about traffic organization during the renovation. However, it announced that this information will be released soon.
Work is scheduled to finish in November
The work on the ramps of the Bolesławiec interchange is to be completed by mid-November this year. The goal? To improve the technical condition of the road infrastructure.
