The incident occurred on September 2 in Bolesławiec. A senior woman fell victim to a particularly brazen theft when a man violently tore a gold chain from her neck.
Officers from the Criminal Division of the District Police Headquarters in Bolesławiec took up the case. The officers worked intensively to identify the perpetrator and quickly singled out a man suspected of committing the crime.
He turned out to be a 36-year-old resident of Zgorzelec County. Police established not only his identity but also recovered the gold chain together with its cross and medallion.
The District Police Commander in Bolesławiec received thanks from the victim and her family. The senior woman’s relatives emphasized that the officers demonstrated not only great effectiveness but also professionalism and commitment.
