A collision occurred on September 5, after 2:00 p.m., on the A4 motorway near Kierżno, at the 33rd kilometer of the route. A passenger Opel driven by a resident of Wrocław struck the rear of a truck.
Emergency services were dispatched to the scene. Firefighters from OSP Zebrzydowa, OSP KSRG Czerna and JRG Bolesławiec, as well as a medical rescue team and police officers, took part in the operation.
The Opel driver was taken to hospital for examinations. Fortunately, she did not suffer any more serious injuries. The incident was classified as a collision.
The officers appeal for prudence and caution on the road.
