As reported by eluban.pl, the vehicle was an Audi belonging to a man who went mushroom picking that morning. The owner parked it on the roadside.
The Audi caught fire. Firefighters from OSP Olszyna and officers of the State Fire Service Rescue and Firefighting Unit in Lubań were dispatched to the scene. The Police also took part in the operation.
A car fire in a forest is undoubtedly a scenario that can quickly turn into an extremely difficult situation to control. This time, the emergency services' swift and decisive response prevented the fire from spreading.
The Police are determining the causes and circumstances of the incident.
