For people looking for a moment of respite from the urban bustle, this may be a particularly good place. In the park, there is no need to worry that a speeding scooter or bicycle will suddenly flash past nearby. The area has been fenced off, giving the space a more intimate and orderly character. The fencing was one of the elements of the planned park modernization.
The park was designed with the existing greenery preserved. Trees, shrubs and previous plantings were left in place, while the investment also included gravel paths laid out along the natural traffic routes. Benches and trash bins were replaced, and the area was also equipped with energy-efficient LED lighting.
One of the attractions is a small playground with a safe surface, a 4.5-meter-high rope pyramid, a carousel and swings. This means that the park can be used both by people looking for a peaceful place to relax and by families with children.
Nature has not been forgotten either. The park includes, among other things, breeding towers for swifts, nesting boxes for birds and insects, flower beds with honey-bearing plants and a rain garden. In total, hundreds of new perennials, grasses, subshrubs and shrubs were planted.

This is therefore one of those places in Bolesławiec where you can slow down for a while. Instead of watching out for speeding scooter or bicycle users, you can sit peacefully on a bench, walk along a path or spend time with your children. The fenced park near Murarska, Kosiby and Zygmunta Augusta streets may be an interesting urban “peace zone”—especially for those who want a break from the daily rush.
