To the istotne.pl editorial office came a reader who had used Termy Bolesławiec. He sent a recording made in the facility’s toilet. The video shows a urinal that, according to the reader, does not have a functioning automatic or standard flushing system. Next to it is a hose connected to a small tap. To flush the urinal, one has to unroll the hose, turn on the water and pour it over the fixture oneself.
– This is what flushing the urinal at the thermal baths looks like after relieving oneself – the reader wrote.
The reader also reports problems in the sauna area
This is not the only comment concerning the facility’s operation. The reader claims that a device enabling the use of soda water was removed from the sauna area.
– The soda-water dispenser was removed, even though people always go there after the sauna to hydrate and regain their strength – he reported.
According to his account, there are also problems with access to the steam sauna, which often does not work.
He also draws attention to the way fees for using the sauna area are charged. In his opinion, the solution used at Termy is less flexible than at the Orka swimming pool, even though both facilities operate within the same municipal structure.
The reader concludes that, in his opinion, the standard of using Termy has clearly deteriorated recently.

In connection with the report, we contacted the management of the Municipal Sports and Recreation Centre with questions about the urinal shown in the recording.
By the time the article was published, we had not received a response. If MOSiR addresses the matter, we will supplement the article with its position.
