A4 towards the border. Drivers should exercise caution
The A4 motorway is one of the most important transport routes in this part of Poland. The section leading towards Zgorzelec is particularly important for transit traffic, as drivers using this route are heading, among other destinations, towards the border crossing with Germany.
Collisions and accidents occur on the motorway, as on other busy routes. Heavy traffic, high speeds and the frequent presence of lorries mean that even an apparently minor incident can cause disruptions for other drivers.
In the event of a collision, it is advisable to keep a safe distance from vehicles ahead, monitor the situation on the road and follow the instructions of the emergency services.
