The Jelenia Góra district league season is getting underway. On Saturday, 8 August, relegated from the Lower Silesian IV league, Twardy Świętoszów will play away against Włókniarz Mirsk. The match begins at 17:00
Meanwhile, on Sunday, 9 August, in Nowogrodziec, Chrobry Nowogrodziec will host BKS Bolesławiec in the Bolesławiec County derby. The match in Nowogrodziec will begin at 18:00.
In Nowogrodziec, it will not only be about football, but also about helping
During the match in Nowogrodziec, a collection will be held for the benefit of Jakub Różnicki, a Chrobry Nowogrodziec player. He previously suffered serious injuries and underwent two knee operations, and a few days ago, as reported by Chrobry Nowogrodziec, he was admitted to hospital after suffering a stroke.
During the match, the organizers will hold auctions and a raffle featuring club merchandise, vouchers provided by sponsors and partners, and Zagłębie Lubin players’ shirts. It will also be possible to buy raffle tickets, with every ticket guaranteed to win; the main prize will be a bicycle. Proceeds from the auctions and collection will support Jakub’s recovery. Catering, including grilled food, will also be available at the venue.
Admission to the match will be available in exchange for a voluntary donation, with the minimum amount set at 10 PLN. As stated on Chrobry’s website: Every złoty makes an enormous difference.
