As officers established, the man was riding a moped despite as many as five active court bans on driving vehicles. The test also showed that he was under the influence of narcotic substances.
However, that was not the end of his problems. During the intervention, police officers found marijuana on him, and after checking police databases, it turned out that the 48-year-old was wanted to serve a sentence of 2 years and 8 months in prison.
The man was detained and placed in police custody. For failing to stop for a roadside check, driving a vehicle despite court bans, driving under the influence of narcotic substances, and possessing drugs, he faces a sentence of up to 7.5 years in prison.
