OSP Różyniec on its celebration:

An exceptional day is behind us – the ceremonial celebration of the 80th anniversary of the Volunteer Fire Department in Różyniec. It was a time full of emotion, memories, firefighting tradition and pride in the history of our unit.

⛪ We began the celebrations with Holy Mass, followed by a ceremonial assembly. After the report was submitted, the national flag was raised and the national anthem of the Republic of Poland was played. 🇵🇱

🎖️ One of the most important moments was honoring OSP Różyniec with the Gold Medal for Merits in Firefighting and ceremonially decorating our banner. This is a tremendous distinction for the entire unit, and above all for all generations of firefighters who created its history over 80 years.

And adds:

🙏 During the anniversary celebrations, a statue of St. Florian and a commemorative plaque were also unveiled and blessed. The plaque pays tribute to the founders and those who continued the work of OSP Różyniec.

❤️‍🔥 A particularly important moment was the ceremonial oath taken by members of the Youth Fire Brigade. Looking at our young firefighting recruits, we can proudly say – we have someone to pass the firefighting traditions on to!

🏅 The anniversary was also an opportunity to present Gold, Silver and Bronze Medals for Merits in Firefighting, as well as “Model Firefighter” badges, to deserving female and male firefighters.
We warmly congratulate everyone honored and thank you for your service, commitment and work for our unit and residents! 👏🚒

And concludes:

🤝 During the ceremony, we also thanked the people and institutions particularly involved in the development of OSP Różyniec.
We thank representatives of the local authorities of Gmina Gromadka, the State Fire Service, the Police, the State Forests, the OSP RP Association, our friendly Volunteer Fire Department units, our friends from the Czech Republic, sponsors and everyone supporting our work.

❤️ We extend special thanks to our families – for their patience, understanding and support. We also thank the residents of Różyniec and all the guests whose presence made our anniversary celebration special.

🕯️ We also remember the firefighters who are no longer with us. They laid the foundations of our unit and passed the values of firefighting service on to successive generations.

OSP Różyniec is above all PEOPLE – those who created it over the past 80 years, those who create it today and the young people who will create it tomorrow.

Thank you to everyone who was with us and helped write another chapter in our history. ❤️

80 years behind us – many more ahead! 🚒🔥

OSP Różyniec has celebrated an exceptional anniversary. On Saturday, August 1, 2026, firefighters and invited guests jointly celebrated 80 years of the unit’s activity, a unit that has played an important role in ensuring residents’ safety for decades. The celebration through the lens of Janusz Wilk:

Those attending the ceremony included local government officials, as well as the District Commander of the State Fire Service in Bolesławiec, Senior Brigadier, MSc Eng. Andrzej Śliwowski and the Deputy District Commander of the State Fire Service in Bolesławiec, Junior Brigadier Mateusz Dąbrowa.

One of the most important points of the celebrations was the presentation of medals and distinctions to firefighters whose many years of service and commitment contribute to the safety of the local community. Participants also recalled the history of the unit, which has continuously supported residents for 80 years during fires, local emergencies and other rescue operations.

The anniversary was also an opportunity to thank all volunteer firefighters – both current and former members of the unit – for their dedication, readiness to help and community involvement.

The District Headquarters of the State Fire Service in Bolesławiec congratulated the firefighters on their wonderful anniversary, wishing them many more years of fruitful activity, safe service and the continued development of the unit.

The 80th-anniversary celebration of OSP Różyniec was not only a firefighters’ festival, but also an expression of appreciation for everyone who shaped the unit’s history over eight decades and built its importance in the life of the local community.
