Which institution is responsible for the playground on Łukasiewicza Street?

She added:

The point is that the equipment at this playground “squeaks”; the carousels and other swings squeal so loudly that they can be heard in the apartments. Children cannot use the equipment because it is impossible with that level of noise. No one oils or maintains it, when a regular inspection would be enough to solve the problem.

She remarked sarcastically: – There is money for millions to build new playgrounds, but there is no money for even small amounts to maintain them.

She continued: – And another problem (the municipal police know about it): dogs are being taken onto the playground. Someone also comes with a dog to that small area enclosed with a wire fence, where there is sand. The person closes himself in there with the dog, sits there, and the dog runs around the playground. Apparently there are cameras on this side of the building, but that is probably just an urban legend.

We appeal for action.

Regular maintenance of equipment located in playgrounds is highly important both for the comfort of using it and for its durability. Mechanical elements that remain without proper inspections and lubrication for a long time may eventually begin to produce unpleasant sounds. In locations close to residential buildings, such noise can be a nuisance to nearby residents, especially when the playground is used intensively.

Experts emphasize that systematic technical inspections and ongoing maintenance not only help reduce equipment wear, but also make it possible to detect potential faults earlier and extend the equipment’s service life. As a result, playgrounds remain safe and comfortable for children while better fulfilling their function as recreational spaces for the entire local community.
