Almost PLN 6,000 for 27 days of training. The army is recruiting in Bolesławiec and Świętoszów

The “Holiday with the Army 3” program is aimed primarily at young people who want to learn about the military from the inside, gain new skills and earn money during the holidays.

The third and final session this year will begin on August 17 and run until September 12. The training will last 27 days.

Training in Bolesławiec and Świętoszów

Residents of the region can choose training at two nearby units:

• in Bolesławiec, at a unit associated with the 23rd Silesian Artillery Regiment,
• in Świętoszów, at the 10th Armored Cavalry Brigade.

Almost PLN 6,000 for participation

Each participant is to receive almost PLN 6,000 gross for the entire training. The army also provides:

• accommodation,
• meals,
• uniforms,
• medical care,
• insurance.

Participation in the program is voluntary and free of charge.

Who can apply?

The program is aimed mainly at people aged 18 to 35. The army particularly encourages secondary-school graduates, students, people seeking summer employment and those considering military service.

The basic requirement is to be at least 18 years old.

During the training, participants learn the basics of military tactics, shooting, survival principles in the field, hand-to-hand combat and equipment operation. They will also practice teamwork and operating in difficult conditions.

After completing the training, volunteers can decide whether they want to continue their association with the army. Options include joining the active reserve, the Territorial Defence Forces or applying for professional military service.
