Detectives from the District Police Headquarters in Bolesławiec, together with officers from the Police Station in Nowogrodziec, arrested a 32-year-old resident of Bolesławiec County who had been hiding from the justice system for a long time. The man changed his places of residence, hoping to avoid responsibility for crimes he had previously committed.
According to the police, the arrest was the result of operational work by officers who established the whereabouts of the wanted man. The 32-year-old still attempted to flee. However, he failed to avoid arrest.
During procedural activities, the man was charged with another offense. This time, it concerned driving a motor vehicle despite a valid court-imposed driving ban.
After all procedural activities are completed, the resident of Bolesławiec County will be taken to prison. He is to serve a total of one year and eight months in prison.
The sentence consists of one year in prison for burglary and eight months in prison for theft. The arrest ended the period during which the 32-year-old had successfully avoided serving final sentences.
