The incident occurred on Sunday evening at the intersection of national road No. 30 and provincial road No. 361. The animal suddenly ran onto the road, causing the motorcycle to overturn. After the fall, the dog bit the 30-year-old rider.

Fortunately, the motorcyclist did not suffer serious injuries. Despite the dangerous course of events, there were no fatalities or serious injuries; however, the situation could have had a much more tragic outcome.

Police officers stress that this is another case demonstrating how dangerous animals left without proper supervision can be. Even a brief moment of inattention is enough for a dog to escape the property and find itself on a busy road, posing a threat to drivers, passengers and itself.

Officers remind dog owners of their duty to properly secure their four-legged companions. A properly fenced property, a closed gate and keeping the dog on a leash during walks are basic measures that can prevent similar incidents.

The police appeal for responsibility and caution. An animal running uncontrolled onto the road can lead to a serious accident, putting both people and animals at risk. In this case, it ended only with the motorcycle overturning and the rider being bitten, but similar situations often have much more serious consequences.

Every animal owner should remember that proper care of a dog is not only concern for its safety, but also responsibility for the health and lives of other road users.
