– The camp began on 21 August – says Damian Tomiak, head of the Youth Firefighting Team operating at the Volunteer Fire Service in Osiecznica. – In Boszkowo (Greater Poland Voivodeship), we were welcomed by beautiful weather, which lasted until the very end of our trip.
The young firefighters had the opportunity to ride a pedal boat, boat and kayak. They also visited the nearly 20-metre observation tower in Olejnica. They could not complain about boredom: they prepared meals themselves, went fishing and played football. Meeting Bojan Isailovic, the goalkeeper Bojanem Isailoviciem, was a significant experience for the MDP members, who are great fans of Zagłębie Lubin. – I am very pleased that this camp took place – Damian emphasises. – Trips of this kind have a positive impact on young people and develop their skills. They teach camaraderie, helpfulness and honesty.
