The State District Sanitary Inspector in Bolesławiec has extended until 19 July 2026 the validity period of the decision concerning the quality of water from the public water supply system in Nowogrodziec.

Tests showed that the water still does not meet all required quality standards. This concerns the total number of microorganisms and parameters such as turbidity, colour and iron content.

This means that the water may be used for consumption only after boiling. Boiling is necessary before drinking, preparing meals and beverages, and washing food products eaten raw.

The decision was issued at the request of the water supply operator – Hydro-Tech Sp. z o.o. – which applied for an extension of the deadline for removing the causes of the deterioration in water quality. The new validity period for the conditional suitability of the water for consumption expires on 19 July 2026.
