As reported by Przedsiębiorstwo Wodociągów i Kanalizacji Dolina Bobru, due to a failure in the water-supply network on Tuesday, October 13, at 10:00 p.m. an interruption in the water supply will begin. According to the announcement, the disruption is expected to last until 5:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 14.
The interruption will affect selected addresses on two streets in Bolesławiec:
- Polna Street: numbers 3, 3A, 3B, 5 and 6;
- Ogrodowa Street: numbers 6, 7, 9, 10 and 13.
Residents of the indicated buildings should take the interruption into account in their daily activities and, if possible, prepare a supply of water in advance for the duration of the work.
PWiK warns of possible disruptions
The company notes that, for technical reasons beyond the planned work, the interruption in water services may last longer.
PWiK Dolina Bobru also warns that immediately before the water supply is shut off and after it is restored, its quality may deteriorate. This may include a drop in pressure and the appearance of contaminants.
For the duration of the disruption, the company recommends not using automatic washing machines.
