The incident occurred during operations conducted by district police officers from the District Police Headquarters in Bolesławiec. The officers attempted to stop a passenger car traveling along one of the city’s streets for a check. However, the driver reportedly ignored the signals and began to flee.

The pursuit continued through towns in Bolesławiec Municipality. Traffic police officers also joined the operation, bringing the vehicle to a stop and preventing it from driving any farther.

After the intervention, the officers determined that the 30-year-old had been driving under the influence of narcotic substances. In addition, the woman did not have the required driving license.

That was not the end of the findings. During the proceedings, the officers reportedly secured methamphetamine found in the arrested woman’s purse.

Police also report that this was not the first time the woman had come into conflict with the law (drugs).

The Bolesławiec resident will now face charges of driving under the influence of narcotic substances, possession of psychotropic substances, and driving without the required license.

The vehicle was secured. The court will decide the arrested woman’s further fate. These types of offenses carry a penalty of up to five years’ imprisonment.
