The Ceramic Parade of the Bolesławiec Ceramic Festival was attended by many groups (ten entered the competition for the most interesting presentation). The District Office promoted the Old Theatre in theatrical costumes and masks; there were also Zdobinki from the “Bolesławiec” Ceramic Works.
The group award for the most interesting costume (PLN 1,000) went to the BOK-MCC team for the creation “The Four Elements”; the second prize (PLN 500) went to the GOKiS team from Gromadka for the presentation “Plates Spinning in Fire”. Third place (PLN 200) was taken by a group from Gimnazjum Samorządowe No. 3 with a creation called “A Passionate Man”.
The first prize (a laptop) for an individual creation went to Mateusz Boczarski, who dressed up as an explosive ceramic monster. His mother encouraged him to take part in the parade because she did not want her son to spend the entire summer holiday in front of the computer.
The parade ended with a fireworks display, which the residents of Bolesławiec received with great enthusiasm. The evening’s star was the band Happysad.
