The Ceramics Animation Town is hugely popular with children and parents every year. Children visiting it can create their own clay works under the guidance of instructors, shape them and add color.

This year, especially for the workshop participants, Ewa Lijewska-Małachowska prepared an official opening ceremony. The ribbon was cut by the president and workshop participant Daria Szuk, wearing an original costume. The young ceramic artists were dressed in costumes and presented their own artistic programs. The “Babsztyle” band performed, along with Daria and Dagmara Szuk. Prizes were prepared for the children.

“I wanted the children to have their own official and ceremonial opening,” says the director of BOK-MCC. “This year, the main parade will take place after 9:00 p.m. Not all children will be able to participate because of the late hour, so I proposed a costume competition for the youngest participants of the Ceramics Festival as part of the opening of the ceramics town.”

The town will be open on Saturday and Sunday from 12:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The program includes throwing on a wheel, painting and stamping bisque ware, as well as art classes: “Colors of the City,” “Painted Holidays” and “The Coat of Arms of Bolesławiec.”
