The contamination was reported, among other places, in the area of Zgorzelecka, Dolne Młyny and Orla streets. A trace of an oily substance is visible on the roads, which may reduce surface grip and increase the risk of vehicles skidding.
Firefighters are working at the scene, taking measures to neutralize the hazard and secure the roads. The services are appealing to drivers to exercise particular caution, adjust their speed to the road conditions and follow the instructions of traffic controllers.
Local traffic disruptions may occur until the substance has been completely removed from the road.
