The investment is the next stage in the expansion of the centre at 24 Spacerowa Street. Its main element will be a modern water-attractions zone intended to enrich the city’s recreational offering and attract visitors not only from the region but also from other parts of the country.
The central point of the complex will be an impressive starting tower equipped with three starting levels located at heights of 6, 9 and 12 metres. This is where descents on seven different routes will begin, designed for users with varying expectations and levels of experience.
The attractions will include “Szyszka”, a family slide approximately 83 metres long, starting at a height of 9 metres. For those seeking greater thrills, there will be “Turbo”, an enclosed and dynamic 63-metre route, as well as “Wahadło”, whose design is intended to provide an exceptional experience during the descent.
One of the complex’s most distinctive elements will be “Cebula” – an elaborate structure with a striking nine-metre element resembling a funnel. Racing enthusiasts will be able to compete on two parallel “Racer” tracks, each 60 metres long.
The greatest thrills, however, are expected to come from “Kamikaze”. The open slide, starting at a height of 12 metres, will have an inclination of up to 40 percent and be approximately 20 metres long. It is intended primarily for people seeking strong sensations and fast descents.
The project also includes the construction of essential technical infrastructure, including an underground technical chamber and an intermediate tank, which will ensure the efficient operation of the entire system. User comfort is to be ensured by wide, two-flight stairs leading to the top of the tower.
Depending on the type of attraction and the speeds reached, the braking runout pools will be 8 to 16 metres long. These solutions have been designed in accordance with applicable safety standards so that using the complex is comfortable for both children and adults.
When?
The investment is scheduled for completion at the end of April 2027. Once opened, the new slide complex is expected to become one of Bolesławiec’s most important recreational attractions and significantly increase the city’s tourism potential.
