The Bolesławiec City Office has signed an agreement for the comprehensive modernization of two popular sports facilities. The investment will cover the Orlik complexes located at Primary School No. 1 at 38C Jana Pawła II Street and at Primary School No. 2 at 2 Słowackiego Street.
Significant changes are planned for the complex at Primary School No. 1. The multifunctional pitch will receive a new sports surface, while the existing basketball equipment will be replaced with modern, more durable equipment. The modernization will also include the football pitch, where the surface will be renewed and new goals installed. In addition, a new fence will be built, and the current lighting will be replaced with energy-efficient lamps.
An equally broad scope of work is planned at Primary School No. 2. Both the multifunctional and football pitches will receive new surfaces. New basketball stands, football goals and ball-stop nets will also be installed. The plans also include completing the fencing, repairing the pétanque court, rectifying inspection chambers, refreshing the concrete block-paved surface and replacing the benches.
The contract was awarded to Bud-Ziem of Pszenno. According to the signed agreement, all work is to be completed by the end of August 2026, so that the modernized facilities can serve users from the beginning of the new school year.
The total cost of the construction works is PLN 2,665,935.
