The incident occurred on July 31 in Bolesławiec. The 21-year-old man took advantage of the victims’ inattention, entered an open garage and stole a mountain bike worth PLN 1,500. The thief was detained. It turned out that he had already had a run-in with the law—he had been convicted of robbery. He now faces up to 5 years in prison. Officers returned the stolen vehicle to its owner.
