On Friday afternoon, emergency services received a report of a fire at one of the facilities operating in the Legnica Special Economic Zone in the village of Osła.
Units from OSP KSRG Krzyżowa, OSP KSRG Różyniec, OSP KSRG Gromadka and three units from the State Fire Service Rescue and Firefighting Unit in Bolesławiec were dispatched to the scene.
It turned out that waste at the facility was on fire. Thanks to the emergency services’ quick response, the fire was efficiently brought under control. The flames were prevented from spreading.
Fortunately, no one was injured in the incident.
