I never thought that I would have to ask for help once again. I am a mother of three children, including a daughter who suffers from epilepsy and requires constant care. I am currently not working because I look after the children and take care of my daughter’s treatment.
The recent period has been very difficult for us and has put us through a great deal. My financial situation has deteriorated significantly. Everyday expenses have become a huge problem, and today I lack the funds to buy the most essential items. Writing these words is not easy for me, but life has forced me to ask for support. Our situation has deteriorated so badly that I am no longer able to cope on my own.
I pay for medical appointments privately because the children require immediate consultations with specialists. We are registered with the NFZ, but unfortunately, it takes several months to get an appointment. That is why we are forced to seek private treatment, which is very expensive. Every day is a struggle for a better life for my children and for me.
She adds:
What hurts me most is that I am unable to provide my children with everything they need. My son has a contracture of the Achilles tendon and attends rehabilitation, but in addition to that he needs a swimming-pool pass. This is a huge expense for me, one I currently cannot afford.
I would like this fundraiser to help us get through this difficult period, which I hope will end soon. I would like to buy the most necessary things: summer clothes, footwear, food and cleaning products, as well as pay for the most important medical appointments—a neurologist for my daughter and a psychiatrist, because the waiting times under the NFZ are very long. I would like the children to feel at least a little better. These are the most important matters for us right now.
Every zloty donated is hugely important to us. We are very grateful for every bit of help shown to my children and me.
