Work is progressing on the project entitled “Construction of a bicycle path in Gromadka Municipality”. According to the local government, the project is currently at another stage of implementation, and the next partial acceptance of the works is scheduled for June 2, 2026.
This will be an important moment for the entire project, because after the acceptance is completed, the contractor will begin work on the bituminous surface of the bicycle path.
A modern bicycle route will connect Modła and Trzebień
The project involves constructing a bicycle path 2.5 metres wide. Within Gromadka, the path will be 3 metres wide and will function as a shared pedestrian and bicycle path.
The new route will have an asphalt surface and run between Modła and Trzebień. The project also includes a cyclist service area, intended to make using the route more comfortable.
The investment is intended to improve safety and transport links
The construction of the bicycle path is one of the most important infrastructure investments currently being carried out in Gromadka Municipality. The new route is intended to improve cyclist safety, increase the comfort of everyday travel and create attractive conditions for recreation.
Work scheduled for completion in September 2026
According to the current plans, the entire project is scheduled for completion in September 2026.
