In Lubin, during the night from Tuesday to Wednesday, a shooting occurred in an apartment on Jastrzębia Street in the Przylesie housing estate. According to journalists’ reports, two people were killed; however, this information is unofficial and has not yet been confirmed by the police or the prosecutor’s office.
As reported by rmf24.pl, one of the people involved in the incident was taken to hospital. His role in the incident is being clarified. Police are conducting an intensive search for a man who may be connected with the shooting. Police cars can be seen in many places in Lubin.
The lubin.pl portal published a statement by Liliana Łukasiewicz, spokesperson for the District Prosecutor’s Office in Legnica. She confirmed that a shooting occurred in Lubin and that it resulted in fatalities; however, in the interests of the investigation, the prosecutor’s office has not yet officially disclosed the number of victims. She added that activities involving the prosecutor and police, including an inspection of the apartment where the incident occurred, are still being carried out at the scene.
Investigators are securing traces, collecting evidence, questioning witnesses and analyzing surveillance footage in an effort to reconstruct the exact course of the tragic events. For now, no detailed information is being provided in this case.
