The incident occurred before noon in Raciborowice. A group of people with two dogs was in an open area. Suddenly, one of the dogs (a German Shepherd) attacked a 7-year-old girl and seriously bit her. The child was taken to a hospital in Bolesławiec. The girl’s condition is serious. The prosecutor’s office and the District Veterinary Inspector were notified of the matter. For now, the German Shepherd remains in its owner’s care. It will be examined on Thursday.

The girl who was attacked is still in hospital. We unofficially learned that the child has serious wounds, including on her leg. The dog was placed under two weeks of observation. It is known that it had been vaccinated against rabies.
