The first clear effects of the work on the construction of a new roundabout are already visible by the Bolesławiec bypass. The photograph taken on May 3 shows the outline of the future road layout being built near Staroszkolna Street and national road no. 94.
The new roundabout is one of the key elements of the transport infrastructure connected with the construction of Vendo Park Bolesławiec. The investor developing the retail park is to build a new road connection to the city bypass. The solution is intended to improve access to the emerging shopping centre and also improve transport service in this part of Bolesławiec.
The significance of the roundabout will extend beyond providing access to the shops. Residential development is also growing in this part of the city, while Staroszkolna Street is already handling increasingly heavy traffic. The new connection to the bypass is intended to take some cars off the local road network and relieve it.
Vendo Park Bolesławiec is being built on a plot covering more than 60,000 m². It is to be the largest facility of this type in the city. Announced tenants include Leroy Merlin, Biedronka, Maxi Zoo, Media Expert, Rossmann, Martes Sport, Pepco, DM Drogerie, Haul Moda, Ochnik and Villaro.
The investment and the opening of the retail park are scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2026. As work progresses, it is becoming increasingly clear how this part of Bolesławiec by the bypass will change.
