Police officers from Bolesławiec County carried out intensive operations that led to the arrest of six people wanted by the justice system. The operation lasted just two days and involved people sought, among other reasons, for theft, crimes against the family, driving under the influence of alcohol, and causing a road accident.

Among those arrested were two people sought under arrest warrants. Officers emphasize that some of those detained had tried to avoid responsibility and hide from the authorities.

The most unusual situation concerned one of the men, who, fearing a prison sentence, had hidden in a forest complex. Thanks to cooperation between police officers from Nowogrodziec and Bolesławiec, they managed to establish his whereabouts and arrest him.

Investigators determined that the man is also suspected of multiple shoplifting offenses, which he allegedly committed in the city in recent months.

According to officers’ findings, the repeat offender mainly stole drugstore products. The total value of the stolen property was estimated at approximately PLN 3,000. Police announce further proceedings in the case.
