As reported by the Bolesławiec police, traffic on the A4 has been restored.
A dangerous road incident occurred on Monday morning on the A4 motorway towards Wrocław. At 4:39 a.m., emergency services were dispatched to the 51st kilometre of the route, where a delivery van collided with a car towing a car transporter.
Numerous fire service units, emergency medical teams and police were immediately dispatched to the scene. Rescuers secured the incident site and then began providing qualified first aid to the injured.
Three people were injured in the accident and transported to hospital. At present, details regarding their condition are not known.
Firefighters from OSP KSRG Krzyżowa, JRG Bolesławiec and OSP KSRG Różyniec, as well as three emergency medical teams and a police patrol, took part in the operation. For some time, the services conducted operations at the scene, causing traffic disruptions.
The circumstances of the accident will be investigated by the police. Officers will determine, among other things, the cause of the incident and the course of events.
