As reported by Zespół Szkół Budowlanych in Bolesławiec:
On May 7, Thursday, let us show what community truly means. Let us show that Zespół Szkół Budowlanych in Bolesławiec is not only walls, classrooms and school bells – but above all people who can stand together when someone needs help.
Before the holidays, our friend Zosia experienced an enormous tragedy. She was hit on a pedestrian crossing. She fought for her life. Today she is fighting for every next step, for her mobility, for a return to everyday life… and to come back to us as soon as possible.
Now we can fight for her.
The school adds:
That is why, together with the school administration, we invite everyone to take part in an extraordinary challenge – “10 squats for Zosia”.
It is a simple gesture, but one with great power. We will do 10 squats and then nominate other schools and institutions so that kindness can spread further.
We also ask each participant for symbolic support for Zosia’s rehabilitation – whatever they can afford: a cent, one zloty, 10 zlotys, or perhaps more.
We will not go around with a collection tin – don’t worry, no one will search your pockets. Instead, we will put out a cardboard box, modest in appearance but with huge ambitions – we hope it will burst at the seams with your generous hearts.
And concludes:
The plan is simple:
On Thursday, at the designated time, we will meet in front of the school and take on the challenge together.
If anyone has a construction helmet, they should definitely bring it along. Let it be a symbol of our school’s strength, unity and the fact that we can build not only walls, but above all, goodness.
Let us show the world that when necessary, we join forces.
Let us show Zosia that she is not alone.
Let us show that the heart of our school beats strongly – for her.
See you on Thursday. Together we can do more.
