The opening of the exhibition of works by Kamila Michoń entitled “Windows – Image – Object” will take place on Saturday, July 23, at Długa Gallery of the Bolesławiec Cultural Center–International Ceramics Center. It will begin at 6:00 p.m.. The exhibition will be open to visitors until August 11.
“As long as I can remember, I have always paid attention to windows. I always photographed whatever interested me. After some time, it turned out that very often these were windows,” says the artist. “During the day, the glass is usually a mirror image of what is happening outside, so at most we can see our own figure and the street we are walking along. At night, however, when the lights are on inside, we can see the reflection of the interior, while what is happening outside fades into the background.
