The incident took place in March this year in a neighboring county – in the town of Leszno Górne (Szprotawa municipality, Żagań County, Lubusz Voivodeship). As the Reader professionally connected with Bolesławiec wrote to us:
I first saw it with my own eyes, and then I downloaded the recording from the camera. I have never seen anything like it.
He added:
It reflected off the car window under the block of flats; it was (...) very bright.
According to the recording’s author, the object itself had an unusual appearance and also behaved differently from aircraft known to him. He wrote that he saw it with his own eyes together with his fiancée.
He added:
I wonder what it was; (...) it was large, round, very bright and spinning.
“I showed it to about 100 people”
The Reader informed us that the recording had been shown to many people, including military personnel. None of them could give a definitive answer:
I showed it to about 100 people; no one could answer what it was, and my curiosity is eating me up.
Interestingly, artificial intelligence also gave very divergent answers, suggesting that it could be an arachnid, a bird, a reflection of light in the lens, a balloon, a paraglider or a drone. The recording’s author rejected most of these theories immediately:
A drone is out too; listen to the sound. And it was round, while large military drones look like mini F-16s.
What could it have been?
At this point, it is difficult to say what the recorded object was. Was it a modern, unmarked aircraft? And if so, what kind? Or perhaps it was something entirely different? What do you think?
