Thanks to the investment, the facility at 4 Jeleniogórska Street will undergo comprehensive thermal modernization. The planned works include insulating the flat roof of Building A and modernizing the domestic hot water and central heating systems. These solutions are intended to significantly reduce demand for thermal energy.

One of the key elements of the project will be the installation of a photovoltaic system, an energy storage facility and a modern control system. This will allow the hospital to partially use its own electricity, resulting in lower operating costs and greater energy independence.

An important aspect of the project is also adapting the facility to the needs of people with disabilities. The modernization will be carried out in accordance with the principles of universal design, meaning improved accessibility for all facility users.

The aim of the project is to improve the quality of life of residents of the region by limiting the use of fossil fuels and reducing low-stack emissions. The benefits will be felt not only by patients and their families, but also by Bolesławiec residents, who will enjoy better air quality in their daily lives.

The total value of the investment is PLN 9,986,759.25, of which PLN 7,490,069.44 is funding.
