The incident occurred on Tuesday, July 12. Taking advantage of the vendor’s inattention, two men stole a cash box containing money from a bar located on the grounds of the Bolesławiec water park. Later that same day, police officers arrested the first of them—a 29-year-old resident of Bolesławiec. At the time of his arrest, the man was completely drunk. He had nearly 3 per mille of alcohol in his system.
The following day, the second perpetrator—a 30-year-old resident of Bolesławiec—was arrested by officers. Both suspects told police that they needed money for alcohol. They now face up to five years in prison.
