The performance was given by artists from the United States Air Forces in Europe Band, who visited the town as part of their European concert tour. Their presence in Bolesławiec was part of the “Freedom 250: American Musical Treasures – Skarby Muzyki Amerykańskiej” project, organized to mark the 250th anniversary of the United States Army.

The Americans’ presence in the City of Ceramics was not accidental. Let us recall. In January this year, we reported that during a press conference in Kraków Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz said that in Bolesławiec, Lower Silesia, “we are building Fort Trump.” As NEXTA Polska reported on X at the time:
Kosiniak-Kamysz stressed that the United States is a guarantor of Poland’s security and that the alliance between Warsaw and Washington is exemplary. Increasing the number of US troops in Poland is also being considered.
