At the 10th Armored Cavalry Brigade, a ceremonial assembly was held during which soldiers paid tribute to the victims of the Katyn massacre and the Smolensk disaster. The event was solemn and provided an opportunity to reflect on some of the most tragic moments in Poland’s history.
During the ceremony, the memory of those who died was honored. The uniformed personnel emphasized the importance of preserving historical memory and passing it on to future generations. It is precisely such events that remind us of the sacrifice and heroism of those who gave their lives for their homeland.
The assembly also coincided with the observance of the Day of Representative Bodies of Professional Soldiers, which falls on April 12. On this occasion, distinctions were presented to representatives of the individual corps. They were recognized for their commitment, professionalism and daily service to the Armed Forces.
The ceremony was not only an opportunity to pay tribute to the past, but also to emphasize the values important to contemporary soldiers—responsibility, service and remembrance.
