A dangerous situation occurred in Modła, in Gromadka municipality. The services received a report concerning a fire at a carpentry workshop, and several fire service crews were dispatched to the scene.
When the first firefighters arrived, it turned out that the fire had not reached the building itself. Grass and small sticks in the immediate vicinity of the carpentry workshop were burning. Although the situation looked less dangerous than initially assumed, the threat was real – the fire could spread to the facility at any moment.
Thanks to the firefighters’ swift and well-coordinated operation, the fire was quickly brought under control. The flames did not have time to spread, and the carpentry workshop was not damaged. The entire incident ended without material losses or injuries.
Firefighters from Gromadka, Wierzbowa, Różyniec (two crews) and Nowa Kuźnia took part in the operation.
This is another example of how important a quick response from emergency services is. The firefighters’ professionalism and commitment helped avoid potentially serious consequences. Residents can feel safer knowing that help arrives immediately in the event of danger.
