Over the past weekend, a charity boxing tournament was held for a soldier of the 10th Armored Cavalry Brigade – Denis Mądry.
Unit:
The event brought together tank soldiers from Świętoszów, local residents, and everyone who wanted to contribute to this exceptional initiative.
There were exciting boxing bouts, a display of military equipment, and a promotional stand of the brigade. However, the charity auctions generated the greatest excitement – among the items were, for example, a voucher for “A Day at the 10th Armored Cavalry Brigade” and gloves signed by Mariusz Pudzianowski.
Tank soldiers: – Thank you all for your presence, support, and enormous commitment. Together we can do more!
As the 10th Armored Cavalry Brigade in Świętoszów reported in March:
(...) since January 18 this year, our colleague – Second Lieutenant Denis Mądry – has remained in a coma after surgery to remove hematomas from his brain. After a month of fighting in the intensive care unit, his condition stabilized enough to allow transport to a private, specialist medical facility, where he is currently staying.
As the uniformed personnel emphasize, Denis’s health remains very serious – he has not regained consciousness after the severe knockout and requires round-the-clock specialist care and intensive neurological treatment. Unit: – The facility where he is staying provides him with the necessary therapy, but the cost of treatment is enormous – approximately 35,000 zlotys per month.
It adds:
Today, we can all provide real support to Denis and his loved ones in this difficult fight. We encourage you to donate 1.5% of your tax when filing your PIT return for 2025. Towarzystwo Krzewienia Kultury Fizycznej “OLIMP” in Legnica, of which Denis is a member, has made its KRS number available to help raise funds for treatment. All payments made in 2026 to the indicated number will be allocated entirely to Denis’s treatment.
